A landmark waterfront development in Xiamen combining hotel, SOHO towers, villas and retail, anchored by marina views.

A Landmark Development on Xiamen’s Eastern Waterfront
Xiangshan International Yacht Club Phase II is a high-profile mixed-use development designed by CLOU architects, located on Huandao Road in Xiamen. Facing the East China Sea, the 108,500 sqm site sits directly opposite the Xiamen International Convention Centre and the Olympic Tennis Centre. With a total gross floor area of 315,600 sqm, the project introduces a new model of coastal urbanism integrating waterfront leisure, residential, and commercial functions into one cohesive destination.

A Hybrid Marina Lifestyle Destination
The second phase of the Xiangshan International Yacht Club introduces three sculptural towers that house SOHO offices and hotel functions, complemented by a waterfront retail complex and clusters of villas. Designed around a central marina, the masterplan proposes a hybrid environment where urban and resort lifestyles intersect. The architectural language draws inspiration from maritime forms and natural curves, establishing a distinct identity along the coast.

Programmatic Breakdown
The above-ground built area includes approximately 69,000 sqm of SOHO, 40,700 sqm of hotel space, and 18,000 sqm of retail. The overall GFA of 315,600 sqm also accommodates clubhouse facilities, underground parking, and support infrastructure. The waterfront villas, each with direct marina access, offer exclusive residential experiences tailored for VIP guests and yacht owners.

The layout responds to the site’s linear coastal geometry. Towers are positioned at the tip of the site to maximise sea views, while the curved retail volume anchors the entrance from the main road. Open green spaces and water channels weave throughout, enhancing walkability and view corridors.

Connectivity and Parking Provision
The development is designed with an estimated 1,160 parking spaces, including provisions for hotel guests, office users, shoppers, and villa residents. With integrated marina docking facilities and its proximity to major urban venues, the project supports both international visitors and local residents.
