The jury line-up for the 2022 BDA Bauhaus Modern Design Award, initiated by Guangzhou Design Week, has been officially unveiled! Jan Clostermann, Founder and Executive Director of CLOU, will be part of the judging panel for this year’s awards. The jury of the BDA Bauhaus Modern Design Award is composed of experts from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and architects, designers, artists and others who have studied the Bauhaus concept, they will use independent, authoritative and impartial judging criteria to rigorously select the winners of the Bauhaus Modern Design Award.

With the academic support of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the organization of Guangzhou Design Week, the Bauhaus Design Awards (BDA) is born with the mission of “100 years of modern design re-presented”. The BDA aims to spread the values of Bauhaus design, to pass on the spirit of the Bauhaus pioneers and to implement the Bauhaus design education philosophy, selecting good Chinese design by Bauhaus standards, hoping to bring a creative, thoughtful and meaningful selection of contemporary lifestyles for the society development.
