Jan Clostermann, Founder and Director of CLOU architects, was invited by Professor Stan Fung for an online lecture held for Harvard Graduate School of Design. Outlining various aspects of “Social Space in Commercial Architecture”, Jan shared case studies based on the evolvement of CLOU projects.
As part of Professor Fung’s Topology and Imagination Series at GSD, Jan joined Directors Chris Law and Sada Lam of Oval partnership, Director of Aedas Christine Lam, Beijing Urban Development Planning’s chief planner Yang Yifan, and KPF New York Director Li Lei in a discussion with the students about public engagement in commercial projects. It was a fruitful discussion that brought new points on social space in commercial projects to the table.
